Helix watched the troll bat away his axe like it was nothing more than a baseball. He cursed to himself as Eli took a blow from the mighty troll's hammer, turning the swordsman into a mere rag doll. He didn't think as he started to move towards the troll, his relic axe gripped tightly in his hands. "Swordsman, gunman. Get out of here. Your not going to hurt this thing with your weapons. Protect the caravan at all costs. Those supplies must get to their destination in the Thana desert." Helix gritted his teeth, mentally preparing himself for one on one combat. He knew that he would probably be ground into the ground by this troll, but he still needed Bowmen and Eli to protect the caravan on the long road yet to be traveled. "All right you troll" Helix yelled at the top of his voice, his relic axe glinted in the faint campfire lights of the caravan. "Lets have it. Your not going to touch anyone else in this caravan." With a yell, Helix charged the troll, swinging his relic axe in a mighty two handed blow that would be certain to cleave the head off the troll.

The troll landed next to Bowmen and right in front of Eli and watched as the man was sent flying back with a swing of the trolls club. Bowmen raised the vanishing star above his head its blade ignited in flame and bowmen brought it down on the beast and as it made contact bowmen pulled the trigger which sent a round though the blade causing it to send a shockwave now bowmen jumped as he did as the blade made contact so the recoil from the hit launched him into the air. He hit the ground hard and then got up to see that while did make some distance the beast was still close to him and that he was right by where helix set up camp and heard helix say something. “All right but I better get paid extra for missing out on this fight.” He said with a smile, he then grabbed the rabbit he had skinned earlier and ran over to Eli. “Come on, helix is going to distract the beast while we get the caravan out of here.” Bowmen looked over at the caravan and it looked like they were getting ready to leave.
{vanishing star: flame crush 30 damage and 20 mana deals fire damage. 1 round uaed 5 remaining. 55 mana remaining.}

Such a forceful swing of that great axe was nothing, absolutely nothing, to Trundle as he simply uplifted that great stone club of his and rendered the blow useless; against such rage, such a blow was useless. Indeed, such a collision between the two weapons would send this great axe and it's holder stumbling back as though it had struck a great greater force of complete immovability, for the force of the impact simply found no other point to dissipate but there from whence it came.
As for the second assailant, there would be no contact of flame and bullet. Trundle simply clutched Bowman's hands, the hands that held that weapon in place, and deftly held Bowman's hands, and that weapon, upward in the air above Bowman's own head, leaving Bowman completely and utterly defenseless. Trundle grinned in delight of the advantage that remained his and his only. In so doing, Trundle sent the heel of his filthy black foot in a direct collision with Bowman's chest, and indeed, it would launch him (Bowman) into the air where upon he would hit the ground with all hardness given only to stand upward to see what distance had been made between himself and the beast.
It was then that this man, this Eli, delivered the final strike thereafter when he stood from his impacted place upon the tree and rejoined the fray against the troll but the Troll was all the more cunning than appearances had given. For the horizontal slashing of such a sword did indeed strike against Trundle's own flesh and Trundle did indeed feel the searing sting of that bladed edge slice across his abdomen but the wound was superficial and the pain was weak; there were greater pains.
With unwavering resolve, Trundle simply allowed himself to become struck by this man only to immediately close what small distance there had been between he and him. The fulminating smell of the filth covering this troll would become that much more great for Eli, as that of a thousand corpses left in the burning suns of Thana, and also after, when Trundle reached outward and forcibly took Eli by the neck with his mighty left arm, turning him thus to face his allies.
"Back off!" Called the troll from that place now, "If you want live to see the next day light, leave the rabbit and go." Killing these humes and simply taking what he wanted would have been a much easier path. It would come naturally to regard remorse with moot apathy and simply leave these rotting for the carrion beasts that roamed these woods. But no, Trundle had his reasons for sparing these, reasons known only to him, and yet it seemed all too clear that Trundle was here for both the rabbit and this one of whom was held in the clutches of his festering and filthy arm.
From this standing, Trundle was completely protected by Eli's fragile and womanly frame. Should they shoot at him with guns or cast the blade of an axe, they would surely strike such wrath upon Eli. The grinning troll stared at the other two with eyes filled with malice and the utmost rage, all the while reminding Eli of his own predicament by flexing that arm to tighten around the hume's neck.
The warm blood of the troll; it came upon Eli.

From somewhere off to the left of Trundle a growling voice issues forth "let the Hume go; and Kyuuna Half-breed won't have to knock you senseless, Troll". Kyuuna wouldn't normally be this short with a potential fight, but when you've spent a night within hearing distance of a band of idiot Humes getting roaring drunk; you won't be at yer best in terms of politeness. A long blue tufted tail flicks behind the ankles of the tall blue cat female as her clawed hand grips the handle of a monstrously huge sword compared to the blades the Humes might be carrying.
She looks around at the men who were still standing and nods toward Trundle "if this one en't killed all yer drunkard companions Kyuuna just might; Kyuuna don't take kindly to being woken by drunken revelry followed up by a bloody throwdown Kyuuna wasn't invited to". Then the big cat looks at Trundle once more; the barest nose-twitch suggesting his rank scent had finally hit her "why you trying to use a Hume like a meat-shield? don't you have any pride as a fighter? or are you some kind of coward?". One of these days that curiosity of Kyuuna's would get her skinned if she didn't learn not to run her mouth.
Then again running ones mouth led to the sorts of fights she loved; a spitting mad opponent trying to have her guts fer garters while she's having her warped idea of fun. Though for all Kyuuna knew Trundle might not rise to the bait provided in her words; though she would likely react with violence if anyone called her a coward or suggested she was overcompensating with the massive blade she possessed. Eli's companions might think of the half-breed Ronso as a potential savior in this situation but she was really just looking for a good fight now; and Trundle seemed like he'd be a good fight if he'd just quit hiding behind the Hume.
