Just wait 'til we're alone together, and I'll show you something new,
Something cold, something sleepy,
Something of cease and peace, and the long bright curve of space.
Banish them, refuse to speak.
Leave them. Go upstairs to your room.
I will surround your bed.
Close the windows, so that none will ever again be able to enter.
I will be waiting for you.

2/29/2012 - Mooglin' On,
When all is said and done and all the changes have been made, all we can say is it was all for the better. Looking back, Dystopia has always been a world favoring freedom over tyranny and now Dystopia's essence of freedom has expanded toward greater lengths. 2012 Change Notes.
Odol The capital city of Odol is home to the crazed and maniacal ruler of Gaia. A literal fortress, Odol was specifically built upon the peaks of the rocky Daren Mountains in the far eastern stretches of the Eastern Continent of Iglos. The thick walls built around it are said to be impenetrable and thus Odol is under no threat of attack. The city itself is split into different sectors and sub-sectors, each inhabited by a different social class; Majority live in poverty. The streets of the lower class sectors are wrought with grime, trash, and all manner of uninhabitable filth that has been left uncollected throughout the years. To make matters worse, the streets are under constant surveillance and even the slightest whisper of insubordination is met with severe punishment. No one is safe, though the higher class feigns security under the shelter of their money and their glistening mansions. Welcome to Odol, where rent is cheap and evictions are even cheaper.
Climate and Terrain - Mountainous and rocky wilderness with little vegetation. Poverty struck cities.

Anatola What was once an Elven settlement has now become a safe haven for the rebels who've refused to bow to the flag of Odol. Though there is no particular ruler in Anatola, most would turn to the most prominent in strength and wisdom for guidance and leadership. Located deep within the Erebos Forest, Anatola is naturally hidden away and kept safe by the dense and dangerous Dark Wood of which legends speak of hellish nightmares residing within. Having been Elvish, the housing is particularly fanciful and ornate, though lacking the lavish riches of a time long passed. Most of the roads have long been taken by the wood but glimpses of cobblestone are to be seen in fair light. It's not the largest habitation, but it's home for the many who have grown weary of a world ruled by wickedness.
Climate and Terrain - Temperate. Heavily forested and adorned several rivers and hills.
Erasmus With the sea providing a continuous out pour of food, Erasmus became one of the the first choices for habitation after the flames of war ceased. What was once a simple fishing village on the far western coast of the Iglos Continent quickly became a natural safe haven for the rebels. The natural cliffs that surround the village offer adequate protection against threats both wild and organized, though it struggles during stormy seasons. It's not easy, but it's life outside the shackles.
Climate and Terrain - Cool with seasonal storms. Beaches and cliffs line the coast. Inward land is mostly fertile.

Veli When the armies of Odol began their march toward Veli, the former king of that region offered up his throne in exchange for his life and that of his people. Little did he know that he, and his people, would be mercilessly subject to brutal torturings, public executions, and all manner of indecencies all for the sake of Odol's entertainment. Now the habitation stands as a military operating base where the former surviving citizens serve the soldiers of Odol as slaves.
Climate and Terrain - Temperate. Vast green fields and hills with few woods.
Thana A vast expanse of barren desert that separates the two halves of the Eastern Continent. Though a wasteland, various legends surround Thana and it is said that at one point in history, a great civilization thrived here. In the past, various archeological expeditions took place to uncover the secret beneath these sands; all ended in failure.
Climate and Terrain - Hot with rare rain storms. Barren wasteland with sandy deserts further inward.
Melusine A murky bog in the outskirts of Lyt. With very little solid ground, Melusine is all but traversible. Those who have tried have met their fate with near-death, death itself, disease, and various other afflictions the likes of which serve to place distance between Melusine and even the bravest of journeymen. Despite it's uninhabitable nature, Melusine is home to several hostile creatures including a large serpent that is rumored to have made the bog his home.
Climate and Terrain - Toxic swampland with heavy rainfalls. Most of the ground cannot be walked upon.
