Character associations are groups that you character can join, guilds, corporations, armies, religious groups, whatever. If you can think it up then you can probably make it into a group. You can be in more than one association so long as none of them contradict themselves. If you join groups you may be able to join quest that you wouldn't normally be able to join. These quest could result in gil and treasure!
All groups will have a leader or two and members, some may even have generals if it applies. If you wish to make a group you can post below with the correct form and a staff member will look it over. If you wish to join a group that is already on the list you may do that by forming out the correct for as well.
Remember in a world with this much chaos, there is safety in numbers...

Like any great country Odol has a vast army, the group is split into two main branches, Kings Guard and Foot Soldiers. The kings guard are typically trained to be swordsmen, they usually don't stray too far from the crazed kings side. Foot soldiers on the other hand are usually the men sent into battle and stuck doing all the dirty work. Regardless of which category they are in Odolian soldiers are usually very proud and loyal to their country.

The fishermen, more commonly known as the rebels of Erasmus. This is a small group of soldiers that have form ranks to try and overthrow the mad king. They have lost many men over the years but this group never seems to give up on their dream for peace. Most men joining this group don't expect to live very long but they seem to have an optimistic out look on life.

Most communities know that a caravan can literally mean life or death for the community. The constant threat of bandit raids and wild animal attacks spurred many merchants into creating the now official Caravan Guards to protect the caravans as they make their trade routes throughout the lands.
While officially the Caravan Guards are usually assigned to protect the trade caravans of the lands, the Caravan Guards have also extended their services to searching for lost caravans who have fallen foul of some unknown enemy.
While the pay maybe somewhat debatable (300 gil per completed caravan route), there is always a constant stream of new faces both young and old ready to protect the trade routes of Dystopia.
