We, here at Dystopia, strictly enforce a free-form and fun environment in which you, the player, can enjoy to the fullest of your imagination's satisfaction. However, with the giving of certain freedoms there will be the presence of aspects that can ruin a fun-filled environment. Therefore, in an effort to preserve freedoms and eliminate the unsightly presence of such fun-annihilating factors, we, the staff, have established a set of rules that all must abide by.-Alexander
Characters
[li]Canons must be played with integrity and truthfulness to the original design.
[/li][li]All canon submissions and auditions will be reviewed by the staff. If there are any alterations needing to be made, the staff will notify you of such, likewise, denials and acceptances will also be met with notifications.
[/li][li]If needed, a staff member might ask that you provide further information and credential for the submitted canon in the form of a brief Challenge that is created by the reviewing staff member.
[/li][li]Players may request a challenge; Requests may be denied.
Original Creations[/b]
[/li][li]Please be original and as detailed as possible when filling out the template.
[/li][li]Refer to the God Mode section below.[/li][/ul]
God Modes
- Do not take control over a character not belonging to you.
- Do not assume absolute invincibility when creating a character. That being said, all characters created here on Final Fantasy: Dystopia MUST have a set of weaknesses as well as strengths. There is no perfect being.
Literacy
- All posts must be at least 2 to 3 paragraphs long.
- Please do your best to utilize proper grammar and punctuation.
- Do not Short Post - Be as detailed and precise with your posts so the people your playing with are allowed to move freely within the story with as many options as they can have.
- Do not Overwhelm - Good role play is based on quality, not quantity. Having mentioned this, DO NOT overwhelm yourself, or others, with unnecessarily long posts.
Threads
- Characters are allowed to be in more then one thread at a time.
- Character chronological continuity is encouraged.
- Example: If your character is injured in one thread, that injury must be carried over to the next thread.
- Exception to this is if the new thread takes place before the previous or if he/she has been healed in the same thread the injury took place.
- If you begin/join a thread, see through it to it's end. If you cannot continue to it's end, notify the staff and your fellow players so that the boards are not filled with unfinished threads and nobody is left waiting.
